Homemade Enchilada Sauce

This is just a simple enchilada sauce. My husband and I enjoyed this because it was very flavorful and went well with our spinach and black bean enchiladas. My kids don’t like food to be too spicy so this has little to no heat but you could always add cayenne pepper to yours.

This one is as simple as they come. Measure out your spices,

Add to your sauce and vinegar,

Mix, and use with your favorite enchilada recipe!

Taste as you go and adjust the salt and seasonings to make it your own.  I served this with spinach and black bean enchiladas. With a sweet and spicy cabbage slaw, fresh tomato avocado salsa, and white rice, this made a delicious meal for my family.

Hope that you enjoy it too!
